Newcity Breakout Artists / First Look Reception 2025

You are invited to be the first to see the 2025 Breakout Artists Exhibition in an intimate, no-frills reception on Tuesday, April 22, from 5pm to 7pm at Chicago Artists Coalition in their brand-new space at 1431 West Hubbard.

As you may know, this list has a history of identifying some of America's most prominent artists very early in their careers. (You can see this year's artists here, and the list of past years here.)

The price is $25 per person and is very limited in number. With an RSVP list approaching 400 for the following night's public opening, we wanted to create a more intimate opportunity for you to see the work and meet some of the artists. Most of the work is for sale, too. 

Any net proceeds will benefit Chicago Artists Coalition and Newcity. This is the debut event of The Newcity Art Club.
